Data Deletion

You have the right to request deletion of your personal data and all content you have created in Daysie at any time. This page explains what gets deleted, how to request it, and our commitment to processing your request promptly.
What Gets Deleted
When you submit a deletion request, we will permanently remove:
- Your account and email address.
- All itineraries, trips, and travel plans you have created.
- Places, activities, and notes associated with your trips.
- Photos you have uploaded to the app.
- Budget records and expense entries.
- Your packing lists and preferences.
- Any other user-generated content stored in our database.
Request your data deletion
Send us an email from the address linked to your Daysie account. We will confirm receipt and complete the deletion within 30 days.

- Send an email to customerservice@daysie.app with the subject line "Data Deletion Request".
- Include the email address associated with your Daysie account so we can locate your data.
- We will send you a confirmation within 3 business days acknowledging your request.
- Your data will be fully deleted within 30 days of your request.
What Cannot Be Deleted
In limited circumstances, we may retain certain information even after a deletion request:
- Legal obligations — if we are required by law to retain records, we will keep only what is legally required.
- Aggregated, anonymised analytics — data that has been fully anonymised and can no longer be linked to you is not considered personal data and may be retained.
We will inform you if any of these exceptions apply to your request.
