Data Deletion

You have the right to delete your personal data and all content you have created in Daysie at any time. You can do this directly inside the app, or by contacting us. This page explains what gets deleted and how.
What Gets Deleted
When you submit a deletion request, we will permanently remove:
- Your account and email address.
- All itineraries, trips, and travel plans you have created.
- Places, activities, and notes associated with your trips.
- Photos you have uploaded to the app.
- Budget records and expense entries.
- Your packing lists and preferences.
- Any other user-generated content stored in our database.
Delete your data in the app
The easiest way to delete your account and all associated data is directly inside Daysie. Go to your Profile and tap Delete Account at the bottom. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
How to Delete Your Data
Option 1 — In the app (recommended)
- Open Daysie and go to your Profile.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm the deletion. Your account and all data will be removed immediately.
Option 2 — Email us
If you no longer have access to the app, email us from the address linked to your account and we will process the deletion within 30 days.

What Cannot Be Deleted
In limited circumstances, we may retain certain information even after a deletion request:
- Legal obligations — if we are required by law to retain records, we will keep only what is legally required.
- Aggregated, anonymised analytics — data that has been fully anonymised and can no longer be linked to you is not considered personal data and may be retained.
We will inform you if any of these exceptions apply to your request.
